A backpack mod we’ve created allow cables to pass through your backpack wall.
A hole in your backpack wall is required for the proper installation of the product (we found a craft knife was the best way of getting a clean cut).
25mm Cable Passthrough Option
- Inner diameter 25mm
- Thread diameter 37mm
This size will allow a full size HDMI to pass through with a few millimetres spare for clearance along with additional cables.
20mm Cable Passthrough Option
- Inner diameter 20mm
- Thread diameter 30mm
This size will allow a full size USB Type A to pass through with a few millimetres spare for clearance along with additional cables.
Installation Tips
Offer the bolt thread up to your backpack wall, mark the edges with a pen/pencil. Make a crossed incision within the marked circle, this should be sufficient to then push/twist the bolt through the wall of the backpack.
Information
Please note that the product is not watertight, it is recommended that you use a waterproof adhesive around the edge of the outer shell of the front thread section to glue it to the outside of your backpack.
