Fan Mod: Single (2 Pack)

A backpack mod we’ve created to allow airflow within your backpack, whether or not you choose to fix this within your backpack wall or place freely inside.

A hole in your backpack wall is required for the proper installation of the product (we found a craft knife was the best way of getting a clean cut).

What’s included

• Two Housing for x1 40mm x 10mm fan in each
• x8 Bolts +Spares
• x1 Hex Bolt tool (Can also use a 5mm Hex Key)
• x4 4mm backpack wall spacer
• x2 1mm backpack wall spacer
• x2 40mm USB Fan (Optional)
• x1 USB Type A, Y Splitter (Optional)

Measurements

• Total build size: Approx. 88mm Length x 64mm Width x 25mm Depth
• 10mm backpack wall clearance space with x1 5mm and x1 4mm spacer to cater for different wall thickness

Information/Installation Tips

Offer the 1mm spacer to the outside of your backpack, mark the inside of the spacer with a marker/pencil before cutting. (for best results glue/fix the outer 1mm spacer to the bag at your desired location before cutting, this will give you a cleaner cut)

Please note that the product is not watertight, it is recommended that you use a waterproof adhesive around the 1mm spacer which is placed on outside of the bag.

Although there is little room around the bolts for water to pass through, it is still advised to add some of your typical PTFE tape around the top of the bolt, just under the head if you’re frequently streaming in wet conditions.

The product is however water resistant when properly affixed to your backpack with waterproof adhesive, the vents will cause water to run off at the desired angle selected and mounting orientation.
